THE BEGINNING
It started at a kitchen table — a little girl, some macaroni and brightly colored yarn. That first handmade necklace ignited a lifelong obsession with jewelry and design that has never really let up.
THE JOURNEY
Founder Catherine Canino went on to study Jewelry and Metalsmithing at the Rhode Island School of Design, then paid her dues on factory floors and in costume jewelry design studios before launching CC + Co out of an Upper East Side apartment complete with a slightly illegal torch and a lot of late nights.
TODAY
The brand is now based in the heart of Manhattan’s jewelry district, where adedicated team of artisans handcrafts every piece with the same spirit as that very first one. Over 25 years in, the obsession is fully intact.
INSPIRATION
The collections draw from vintage fashion, old New York, estate jewelry, and mid century art and architecture; blending timeless elegance with a wink of humor. Think sophistication with a sense of play.
THE SIGNATURE PIECE
The Pebble Pearl Earring designed in 2008 and crafted from recycled crushed shell remains the brand’s most beloved piece and the heart of everything CC + Co does. It has a cult following, and it has earned it.
