Todd Gray
Todd Gray creates colorful, three-dimensional works that bring the imagery of Pop Art into conversation with contemporary life. Gray builds wall sculptures, towers, working with acrylic on wood. In homage to artists such as Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, and Robert Indiana, Gray creates compositions of his own.
References to comic book graphics and consumer-culture icons appear alongside graphics stripes, dots, typography, emojis, and sometimes hashtags.
Gray's work is inviting, immediate and generous with color, humor, and recognizability. From small sculptures to his large mural at New York’s World Trade Center, Gray’s approach reflects his enjoyment of making art and sharing that experience with others.
